Type 'n Speak is perfect for people who want speech access but prefer a QWERTY keyboard.
It has many features and capabilities as the portable notetaker 'Braille 'n Speak 2000' such as word processing capabilities, a talking clock, calendar, stopwatch and 768 bytes of RAM and 2Mb of flash ROM for tremendous storage space.
No knowledge of braille is necessary to use this product, however, it does have an easy-to-use braille mode, and a full braille translation features. It comes with an in-built adjustable synthesizer in which you can control the rate of speech, volume, pitch and tone. Type 'n Speak comes in a soft simulated leather carrying case along with a battery charger/AC adapter, earphone, print manual; cassette tape tutorial; and disk manual.
